Hey, Chordies! It's Bowser. Got some updates and previews for you :3.

Let's start off with this. THANK YOU for your patience as we continue our work on Episode 8. This one's been in development for quite some time, but progress is being made!

Here are the highlights:

• As a reminder, Episode 8 will be expanding on Chester's route.
• The draft is done, and it is hefty. This episode is looking to be ~35k words, about ~10k more than usual builds. I didn't plan on this, but that's just where my inspiration took me. I hope the extra content will make up for the lateness 😅.
• Our new sprite is complete! Hope you enjoy the little teaser. Right now, you can view him in all his glory over on Patreon.
  • More sprite work is underway. Drake and I are working on expanding our characters' wardrobes and providing some... ✨special✨ assets to a few as well.
• Rinzy and Jimmy are doing great work filling in our background backlog! No new settings will be introduced in Episode 8. However, right now we're working on replacing the stock photos will some nice, shiny new BG's!
  • The one I have attached is from Jim! This is the new "on the road" background for when characters are chatting in the car.
  • More are on Patreon! Jim made a nighttime and an evening alt of this drawing. Also, Rinzy made a background for Eddy's bathroom.
• Our new CG is underway! Like I mentioned last time, I think y'all will go feral for this one 😌. Cream's putting in some hard work!
• As of now, I'm thinking we'll have a review copy release on Patreon in November and have our public launch in December. This is later than I was hoping and thwarts my goal of four builds this year, but it is what it is.

Some other things:

• I am slotted to be a guest panelist at Furpocalypse 2025!
  • I am hosting my usual two events at cons. First will be my instructional panel, "What are Furry Visual Novels & How to Make Them". This will immediately be followed by an FVN fan and creators meetup. These two events are back-to-back!
  • These two events will be hosted from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM (local time) on Saturday, November 1 @ Panel 3.
  • If you're going to FurPoc, please come by and say hi! I'd love to meet you :3.
• I'm working on a secret project 👁👄👁
  • That's all I'll say for now. Just know, this isn't getting in the way of ChoPro. I'm juggling both. More details will emerge later.
