Hey, regarding your issues with playtesting the android version. Have you tried finding a Emulator? I am studying to do web programming so I've done some research myself and found out that emulators are regularly used by non-browser programmers.
I might be completly in the wrong here...buuuut are you or anyone in the devteam a pantera fan or atleast into metal. Because i mean Darrel as in Dimebag Darrel the guitarist from pantera/damageplan? Cliff as in cliff Burton the old bassist for metallica "rip cliff" etc. I might be super wrong but I have a sneaking suspicion xD
That'd be cute! But their names are just names. Their personalities and visual designs didn't take any inspiration from the real life people they're named after.
I had some buried issues during my childhood and the breakdown events reminded me of some things that happened to me. One breakdown I had was in the school cafeteria but had no one to help me. This really tugged at the heart strings and on various points hit hard. Keep up the great work.

The conversation that Moriah and Eddy have made me think of many of a similar caliber I've had with my friends, they're both just like me frfr. But in all seriousness, reading a nice, realistic depiction of the queer experience is just... really nice. I honestly cried when I saw the in memoriam at the end of the build message
The weird dream about Dave, is it only one that is in the current build or is the a way to have the dream involving the other characters (example cliff, chester, pat, trent).
I felt that was weird honestly I know routes don't come tell the next build but I felt you could change the dream also random tangent but I wanted to message you on Discord but of course I had to take up break 4 that day sadly and when I opened Discord again the message box disappeared

This is probably the only VN where the MC is one of my favorite characters, he is just too cute and not: annoying, boring, rude, devoid of any personality or any of the combinations, though I am a little surprised he is a fox and not a puma.
I just finished reading through build 2, and I really enjoyed it! The way the writing is balanced between comedy, horny, and kinda depressing is really impressive to me. Any time I tried to write anything featuring those three things, I always accidentally leaned WAY too far in a certain direction and lost the others. I haven't noticed that at all with Chord Progressions. One thing I absolutely love about the VN as a whole, but especially with this update is that the characters actually have constructive conversations. I notice quite frequently that issues get swept under the rug in other stories, but not here. The conversation Eddy and Moriah have at the end of the build was really cathartic for me to read. I also love Pat's sagely advice. :3
Speaking on the depressing stuff, it's crazy just how similar I am to Eddy. Like beat for beat, similarities. We have pretty much the same personality and trauma. While Eddy very much can stand on his own as a distinct character, I am also able to really easily put myself in his shoes. Reading this update honestly gave me some stuff I should probably talk about with my therapist.
I also wanted to quickly comment on the google form that y'all do at the end of the builds. If possible, I think having an extended response question on it might be a good idea. There are things in the update I would love to give feedback on, but I don't want to spoil stuff for new readers here.
Sorry for the lengthy comment. I tend to get fired up after reading stories that I really enjoy, and I just keep writing. Once again, I absolutely loved this build, and I am very excited for more!

I've tried reinstalling and restarting my device, but it has persisted. It's not too big of a deal, but I figured I should report it just so y'all are aware.

I'm just speculating, but I'm 99% certain Dave and Chester have an open relationship/agreement of some kind. I present my evidence below.🕵🏽
Point 1: Chester asks for an extra hour off of work one day. Dave asks if this is because it's full-body day at the gym and Chester replies, "Something like that." Then they wink-wink, nudge-nudge each other and Eddy's confused on why. I believe Chester did, indeed, have a "full-body day" that afternoon.
Point 2: Dave is very openly affectionate, dare I say flirty to Eddy. It's one thing to simply be a hugger, but it's another thing to press yourself against your new, cute employee when the job didn't even really call for it. 🧐
Point 3: ...Meta reasons lmao. The author's already confirmed Chester and Dave will get routes eventually. Unless a tragic divorce is in the cards, there has to be a logical explanation for them having routes.
Chester's profile on the app has nearly no pictures and says "Inquire Within." You can only contact him if he decides to accept your friend request. This is likely to divert randos looking for a quick, easy hookup and to discuss the terms of his relationship status beforehand. Also, it shouldn't be considered inviting "strange men" into his house if his husband is aware, allows it, and approves his partners.
Well then honestly, that's down to both of their personal preferences. Dave could decide to allow or not allow Eddy to hook up with Chester, and he could have any number of reasons for this decision.
And Chester himself may not even want to hook up with Eddy. He doesn't seem thrilled about relationships in the workplace (although it's unclear if he meant in general or specifically with Pat).
Hi! This bug hasn't shown up for anyone else and doesn't appear in any desktop versions of the game.
I believe the issue is with your phone and/or how the game is installed. I think the best thing to do would be to uninstall and reinstall. Or just continue forward until the background changes again. There aren't too many lines of dialogue between this moment and the next BG change.
I think uninstalling and reinstalling is your only option. This is a strange error that no one else has experienced. If that doesn't work, I'm afraid you'll need to play the game on another device.

Such an amazing first build that's totally worth the read! Maybe I'm a simp for awkward guys, but Trent's already got me hooked. Can't wait to see where the story and updates go!
I absolutely love this game it is so enjoyable there are a few thing i wish too know like is Dave and Chester are in an open relationship or closed because those two are married to each other but also datable characters so it been on my mind. If the answer is a plot in future builds then i can wait until it gets release.
