Hi friends! It's Bowser Puma again :3.

First of all, Happy Pride Month, everybody! I've been getting familiar with clipping-masks in photopea, so here's a couple of pride edits I made of some beloved characters 😌.

Second, I woke up to find that ChoPro has reached TWENTY THOUSAND downloads on itch today. I'm astonished that we pulled this off in under a year. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all make developing this game worth it.

With all that out of the way, let's talk business. I have some Build 3 Updates!

• The goal this month is to get out a review copy. I'm happy to announce, we're on track! The writing's done and the coding work is underway.
• Drake, Rinzy, and Cream are also hard at work on their new assignments. Everyone on the art team is on track!
• The new additions to our voice acting cast are also doing great! I can't wait for you all to hear the talent they have to offer.
• I'm working on getting a new tune (maybe two 👀) whipped up for you guys as well!

In a previous post, I had mentioned that a sudden passing of a coworker has made things challenging for my day job. While that's still true, my company is slowly but surely taking measures to make sure the void in our workflow is being amended. I think I should be able to dedicate more time to ChoPro this month than I was able to in May.

Also, I had to dedicate some time to the side project, Before You Depart. That slowed down programming for ChoPro for a couple weeks. However, I am so glad I did it! I encountered several coding challenges that took me out of my comfort zone. But in the end, I came out triumphant! It's strengthened me so much as a developer and I'm really excited to implement some of my new skills to ChoPro :3.
