Haven't updated y'all in a few weeks. Figured I'd give you a progress devlog.

Let's start with Build 5:

• A very rough version of the review copy for Build 5 is currently up on Patreon and is available to tier 3 subscribers.
  • It's missing most of its sound design. I wouldn't recommend playing if you want the full ChoPro experience.
  • I'm working on updating the review copy and make a more "official" release of it.
• Right now here's my to-do list:
  • Need voice recordings from two more VA's.
  • Need to pick out the voice lines and add them to the game.
  • Start and polish the sound design.
  • Polish sprite placement.
  • Polish the script.
  • Take care of miscellaneous things (updating credits, QOL stuff, etc.)
  • Work on getting our new background finished.
• Release schedule:
  • I'd like to have the new Patreon version of the game issued by the end of the month. That means that Build 5 should be dropping early/mid August. I'll have exact dates once I iron out more of the new build.

Merch Drop 4:

• Aiming to launch it this weekend.
• Going to add a new pack in addition to our current offerings.
• I'll be introducing a new Dave sticker & print pack.
• I'll also expand the Good Boy Pack to have more stickers (same price).

Anthrocon:

• If you didn't see, ChoPro went to Anthrocon! I hosted two events.
• I hosted a panel called "What are Furry Visual Novels and How to Make Them".
  • Basically, I introduced the audience to what FVN's are, gave out some recommendations, then went through the creation process.
  • It went well! I was happy with my presentation and the audience gave me great questions.
  • It was recorded, but right now I'm in the process of getting my hands on that recording and posting it somewhere. Probably going to put it in a google drive and share the link, I don't think I want it up on YouTube. I'll update y'all once that happens.
• I also hosted an FVN Fans & Creators Meetup
  • This also went well! Had about 100 FVN fans come and go during the hour we had the space.
  • It was nice that everyone got to network, chit-chat, and create friendships. I'm beyond happy I was able to create this space at the world's biggest furry con.
• I caught covid while I was there! 😭🤧
  • I'm fine. Still recovering.
  • There's a lot of ChoPro related stuff I wanted to get done this week just I had to put to off since I'm working with low energy levels. Unfortunately, the day job has to come first. I work from home, so no days off because I'm sick u.u

Other updates:

• While I'm working on finishing up Build 5, Build 6 is already on it's way! I started some of the script and am working on getting some of the art prompts to our artists!
•  Anthrocon was great! But it definitely disrupted a lot of my development plans. I have no cons planned for the immediate future, so I should be able to stay laser focused on ChoPro!
