Hello! My name is Bowser, and I'm the developer and author of Chord Progressions.

In this devlog, I'll discuss in depth our newest feature, Streamer Mode! This will be a dynamic document that'll update over time.

Quick note, as of writing the first iteration of this document (May 19, 2025), Chord Progressions' 7th build has not been released. Streamer Mode will debut with the release of Episode 7: Clutch on May 23.

In the past, Chord Progressions has offered the Content Creator Edition. This was a separate game file that served as the version most suited for content creators wanting to stream or record themselves reading our story. As of the release of Build 7, the Content Creator Edition will be retired and replaced with Streamer Mode.

What does Streamer Mode do?

• Censors and/or crops all full-nudity, bodily fluids, and pornography.
• Provides prompts for the reader to skip some sexually explicit scenes.
• The default "Voices" volume is lowered to 0. Players can manually set the volume higher than 0 while in Streamer Mode, if they wish.
• Sexually charged sound design is omitted (moans, grunts, sloppy noises, etc.).
• This is a feature you can activate while in game. The button to turn it on and off can be found on the main menu and in the options menu. It can be turned on or off any time. 

If you'd like to use Streamer Mode, here are some things you should know:

• Streamer Mode is not a "safe for work" (SFW) version of Chord Progressions. Even with Streamer Mode on, this story is still intended for 18+ audiences only.
• Sexually charged content will still be included, such as:
  • Underwear bulges and partial nudity.
  • Censored and/or cropped sexually explicit scenes (sometimes skippable in Streamer Mode).
  • Sexually explicit and vulgar text.
• All porn scenes have been minimally cropped and/or censored to be acceptable for Twitch and YouTube's terms of service.
  • If you'd like to preview these images, scroll to the bottom of this post. You may be spoiled, just a fair warning. A note will be included to mention whether the scene is or isn't skippable.
  • YouTube and Twitch aren't known for providing fair and sensible punishments for policy violations. Please stream or upload with caution.
  • Skipping scenes when prompted is the safest option. Skipping scenes will not disrupt the flow of the story.

• This background shows up frequently. Streamer Mode censors nipples that would normally appear on the boob painting.

• Eddy in closet scene.

• Nude alt is censored. Alts where Eddy is wearing underwear are not censored or cropped.

• Eddy masturbation scene.
• Skippable.
• Scene is cropped.

• Eddy masturbation scene two.
• Skippable.
• Scene is cropped.

• Skizzy + Pat oral scene.
• Skippable.
• Scene is cropped. Lewd sound design for this scene is muted in Streamer Mode.

• Skizzy flirting with Eddy scene.
• Skippable.
• Sprite's underwear remains on for the whole scene and remains uncensored in Streamer Mode.

• Locker room changing scene with Chester.
• Not skippable.
• Scene available only in Chester's route.
