Review Copy for Build 5 is up and running on Patreon! You can sign up today to get access. I had mentioned in a previous devlog that the review copy was up, but this is a version I can more solidly get behind!

The review copy includes the following:

• Complete story for Day 6 in Darrell's route.
  • About 20k words of new story material!
• Voice lines for Hayley, our newest character!
• Sprite placement 100% done.
• New CG.
• Darrell being handsome! 🦁💖

Here's what still needs to be worked on:

• Sound design is still missing several pieces. It's probably about 50% complete at this time.
  • Barks are missing (these are the briefs vocalizations like sighing, chuckling, scoffing, etc.)
  • Several voice lines still need to be integrated.
  • The speak icon in the corner is not present for all voice lines, at the moment.
  • Need to add some jamming guitar parts (just need to get off my butt and record them :P).
• New BG is still being worked on. Getting close to being finished!
  • Review copy has a WIP version.
• Small things like credits, QOL stuff, etc.

Like I always say with the review copies, if you're looking for the 100% complete ChoPro experience, I'd recommend waiting for the Patreon or public release of the game.

Speak of which, here is our release schedule:

• Patreon Release of Build 5 is July 28, 2024.
  • I intend for this version of the game to be 99%-100% complete.
• Public release is scheduled for August 10, 2024.

In some other ChoPro news, Build 6 is already underway!

• The script for Chester's Day 7 has already been started. I'm about 4,000 words in.
• We're working on the first set of new sprites :3.
• New tunes are being cooked up!
