Hi everyone! It's Bowser.

It's here, it's here! Episode 5: FAFO is now officially released to the public and free to play. I'm so excited to share this with y'all :3.

Here's what's new with Build 5:

• Continuation of Darrell's Route
  • This retells the story of Day 6 (show night) from the timeline of Darrell's route.
  • ~20k words added.
  • Chester's Route will be updated in Build 6. Darrell's route will continue in Build 7.
• New sprite! Hope you're all ready to meet Hayley 🦁
• New voice acted lines.
• New background!
  • The breakroom/backroom at Chronicles.
• New CG!
  • Hope you're all ready to see Darrell rock out :3.

Some quick notes:

• Build 6 is already in production! The script, new CG, and new sprites are already in the works.
• The content creator's edition of ChoPro will be uploaded (hopefully) next weekend. I'll also post any spelling/grammar fixes too.
• I've been planning to do some updates to the story's introduction (again).
  • I'm not going to rewrite any major story beats, I'd just like to cut a lot of the not-so-important stuff, as well as integrate some quality-of-life improvements.
  • I'd like to try and integrate a chapter select feature, in case anyone loses their saves.
  • I also would like to work with Martini on revamping the menu theme and having real instruments for the guitar and bass sections.
  • I'll probably update Build 5 sometime in the fall with these upgrades.
• I'll post a player feedback survey for Build 5 soon. If you'd like to give me feedback before then, feel free to leave a comment on this devlog!
