The review copy for the newest build of Chord Progressions is up! It's available exclusively on Patreon for those at the Lydian ($9.00 USD) tier.

The new build features the latest chapter of our story, Episode 6: Plunge. This is a continuation of Chester's route. It's picking up where Build 4 left off.

One important note is that this version of the game is incomplete. It's missing the final act of the episode, plus it's missing some key audio and visual assets. Here are the details.

Here's What's Missing:

• The ending. This version of Episode 6 is missing the final act. But you'll get to read about 3/4 of the new build!
• The new CG is missing. You'll get to see it when I drop Episode 6's ending.
• Outfits for Pat, Moriah, April, and Dave are missing. Placeholder outfits are being used while we continue to work on those.
• Voice acted lines for Pat, Hayley, Vin, Skizzy, and Eddy are missing.
• A new background by Rinzy is still in the works (Chester's backyard).
• Sound design is still rough around the edges. Needs more work.
• We're missing one tune from Axel. We're wrapping that up soon!
• Missing the little speaker icon in the corner to indicate when a character has a line.

Here's What's Included:

• Writing is solidly where I want it to be. Sometimes, I make mistakes, though. Please let me know if you spot any!
• New Randy sprite is here!
• Poolside outfits for Chester, Pat, Skizzy, Hayley, Vin, Corey, and Randy are all done.
• Voice acting for Chester (mostly), Corey, Dave, April, Moriah, Randy are in.
• We got a new tune from Axel! It's a nice jazzy, cozy number :3. Hope y'all like it.
• Most of the sound effects I want to add are integrated. Still needs some polish.
• New backgrounds have been added by Cream and Jim!

Couple of Quick Notes:

• DO NOT look at the game files or the script if you don't want to spoil yourself. I didn't remove everything. If you want to spoil the ending without the CG, be my guest u.u
• Depending on how quickly I get the final version of the CG, voice acted lines, and the new BG, I may update the review copy for Lydians only. That said, I may end up just releasing the version with Episode 6's ending as the official Patreon release. We'll see.

As I say with every review copy release, if you'd like the full ChoPro experience, I'd recommend you wait for the complete Patreon release.

I'm projecting that the official Patreon copy will be dropping on Saturday, December 14. The main reason for this is that I'm planning on travelling to Midwest Furfest (Dec 5 - Dec 9). It's going to be a big trip, and as much as I want to get this build out earlier, I think I need to be kind to myself with the timing of this whole thing. As much as I love furry conventions, the travel always stresses me out 😅.

• This year I'm hosting a get-together for FVN creators and fans!
  • This is an unofficial meetup. I tried to get an official one organized, but MFF denied my application :/ (womp womp).

• There will be an FVN showcase panel at MFF! The creators of Glory Hounds and String Zero will be reading excerpts of their stories at the con along with some voice actors. One of these voice actors is our very own Yao, who does the voice of Skizzy!
• Also, if you really liked our song FAFO (Darrell's song), Rhythm Bastard and yours truly will be performing it LIVE AT MFF! I'm really excited to play guitar for everyone :3.
