Hi everyone, it's Bowser!
It's here, it's here! It's that time again :3. Episode 6 is up and running!
Here's what's included:
- The full story of Chester's Day 7.
- ~20k new words!
- New character scene (CG) by Cream.
- The debut of our newest character, Randy!
- Two new tracks by Axel.
- Three new backgrounds by Rinzy, Jim, and Cream.
- New sprite outfits/expressions by Drake.
- New voice acted lines and sound effects.
Important Notes:
- Also included in this version of ChoPro is some revisions for Days 1, 2, and 3. A detailed list of errata will be published soon.
- Among the changes, the main character is now named "Eddy". The player can no longer rename the main character.
- The content creator edition for Build 6 will be published later. Likely next weekend or the weekend after. As of now, the only content creator edition is for Build 5.

Ok Bowser, you left me depressed with Darrels day 6 but made up with Chester's day 7. Awesome job...but my poor heart couldn't handel Darrels last update😭

Okay big W for Randy and huge L for chester so he got rule to not screw with his employees and then proceed to flirt and kiss Eddy and then proceed to don't kiss him for a goodbye I really don't get him at all why kiss him in the first place now of course he is gonna have crush on him wtf

I am SO glad that Chester's deal was what I thought it was. Well, it was MORE than I thought it was, and I'd gotten thrown off the scent by the other stuff making it seem more creepy, but the main deal was correct.

Oh man i loved this update ! I had a theory about chester being in an open relationship with Dave, and being a sex worker like 10 month ago, but i didn't think it would really be the case so i was like "wow he really is".
Also, who's Brad ? Chester mentionned him when he told Eddy who knew about all of his uhm... "work" but I don't remember him being mentionned anywhere and there isn't a sprite of him.
Same question for "Uncle Sam". He got mentionned when Chester explained how he launders the money of his sex work and give "Uncle Sam" his fare share.
Uncle Sam refers to the United States of America. If you’ve ever seen the “We want you” poster military recruitment ad from the US, that character is Uncle Sam.

Yes, the phrase 'giving Uncle Sam his fair share' is a colloquial way of someone saying that they paid their federal taxes. Why the name is Sam specifically, I do not know, but I'm sure the answer is on the internet somewhere.
Well that makes more sense to me now hehe..
And do you know who this Brad is by the way ? Chester mentionned him but i've never heard of him in the VN
You may have more of an idea than I, as I am about to read through Build 6 after having not read anything more recent than Build 3 when it first released around November 2023. I started a fresh playthrough last night, with only vague memories of unrelated plot-points to guide my way. However, I have faith in your powers of observation and inference to discover the truth for yourself.
Oh man I wish you could have let the default option be Eddy and have the option to change it, I always get confused on who Is who otherwhise
Any reason why we can't rename our character anymore?
I'll explain in more depth in a future devlog. But the main reason is that the MC is his own person with a specific past, personality, and motivations. He's not as much of a "blank slate" as I had originally envisioned. Making him "Eddy" also eases a voice acting constraint I've had to deal with for the past couple of years. It makes it easier for me to write and record lines when my VA's can say "Eddy".
